Financial Aid Details
Amount: Cost - Other Aid = Amount of PLUS you may apply for
Students whose status is ‘dependent’ may have their parents apply for funds under the Federal Direct PLUS Loan program. Parents may apply for the difference between cost of the college and other aid already received. For example, if college costs $20,000 and the student has received $10,000 in scholarships and other aid, parents may apply for as much as $10,000. Interest accrues after the first disbursement however repayment begins only after the full loan has been disbursed for the academic year.
