Concert Choir tours the heartland

Music plays an integral role at Dordt College and the Concert Choir is sharing the music of Dordt College on a tour through the heartland during the winter break.

The 52-member choir is performing in Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and Iowa during the week-long tour. The group, under the direction of Dr. Benjamin Kornelis, will perform at the following places:

Tuesday, January 8

• Unity Christian High School and MOC-FV High School (Orange City, Iowa). Morning assemblies.
• Le Mars High School (Le Mars, Iowa). Afternoon assembly.
• First Presbyterian Church (Sioux City, Iowa). 7 p.m.

Wednesday, January 9

• Western Christian High School (Hull, Iowa) and Sioux Center Community High School (Sioux Center, Iowa). Morning assemblies.
• Hope Reformed Church (Sutton, Nebraska, 311 E. Hickory). 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, January 10

• Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church (Overland Park, Kansas, 9300 Nall Avenue). 7:30 p.m.

Friday, January 11

• Westminster Christian Academy (Town & Country, Missouri). Afternoon assembly.
• St. Paul's Evangelical Free Church (St. Louis, Missouri, 9801 Olive Boulevard). 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, January 12

• Noelridge Christian Church (Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 7111 C Avenue Northeast). 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, January 13

• Peace Christian Reformed Church (Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 6600 C Avenue Northeast). 9:30 a.m.
• Calvary Christian Reformed Church (Pella, Iowa, 408 Maple Street). 6 p.m.

Monday, January 14

• Des Moines Christian School (Urbandale, Iowa). 11:04 a.m. assembly.

Friday, January 18

• Dordt College Home Tour Concert (B.J. Haan Auditorium). 7:30 p.m.
