The top two teams from the North, Central and West will make the playoffs, plus 2 wild card spots decided on winning percentage.  Lewis, Western Illinois, Nebraska and Dordt are all probationary teams and therefore will not be eligible for playoffs in 2012-2013.

The Coaches…Bill Elgersma returns for his fourth season behind the bench for the Blades.  Elgersma helped lead the Blades to their 3rd ACHA National Tournament appearance in 2009-2010.  Before taking over the reins in 2009-2010, Elgersma served as the assistant coach.  Assisting Elgersma again this season will be Adam Jeninga (6th year) and John Langeraap (4th year).
