Day Signs With Dordt Volleyball

(Wednesday, February 6; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Rachael Day, a senior at Sioux Falls Washington High School (South Dakota), has announced her intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender volleyball program.

Day played club volleyball with Sioux Empire Fitness this year and is a 5-5 libero/defensive specialist.

“Rachael has continued to show herself to be a great student and athlete for Dordt College and our volleyball program.  Her drive to be successful in the classroom and on the court is what makes her a great fit.  We appreciate the time she has committed to training through the Sioux Empire Volleyball Club and the guidance of Jill Weisser," said Dordt College volleyball coach Chad Hanson.

Rachael is the daughter of Derrick and Melissa Day of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  She plans to study chemistry and biology at Dordt College.
