White Signs With Dordt Softball

(Tuesday, February 12; Sioux Center, Iowa) Erica White has announced her intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender softball program.

White is currently at Marshalltown Community College where she batted .379 as a freshman and had 11 doubles with 42 runs batted in and 11 homeruns.  She claimed 2nd team all-region honors in 2012 for Marshalltown Community College  and was an honorable mention all-state selection playing for Johnston High School (Iowa) in 2011 and earned 1st team all-conference honors that same season.

White was a three-year letter winner for Johnston and was a part of a 2009 state championship team at Johnston.  She has played third base and shortstop at Marshalltown Community College.

Erica is the daughter of Bobbi and Scott White from Johnston, Iowa.  She plans to study elementary education at Dordt College.
