Jungling Signs With Dordt Volleyball

(Monday, December 23; Sioux Center, Iowa) Lauren Jungling, a senior at Pella Christian High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender volleyball program.
Jungling, a three-year starter at Pella Christian, put up 1,410 assists during her career. This past season she had nearly five assists per set as part of a 6-2 offense and totaled 102 kills and had 55 ace serves. She was a first-team Little Hawkeye Conference selection in 2012 and 2013 and served as Pella Christian’s team captain in 2013. A multi-sport athlete, Jungling earned all-conference notice in both basketball and softball in 2012.
"Lauren has demonstrated great leadership qualities in her role as a setter/right-side hitter for Pella Christian High School under head coach Cindy Nikkel. She has the ability to set a great offense or to attack from the right side which provides wonderful diversity for our program. She is a great fit for Dordt College and our volleyball program," said Dordt College volleyball coach Chad Hanson.
Lauren is the daughter of Brad and Jan Jungling of Pella, Iowa. She plans to study Education at Dordt College.
