Kollis To Run For Dordt Track

(Wednesday, February 19; Sioux Center, Iowa) Josie Kollis, a senior at Western Christian High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender track and field programs.
Kollis has personal bests of 2:25.28 in the 800 meters and :61.14 in the 400 meters. She was a part of a state champion track and field team in 2013 and she helped Western to a Lakes Conference title in 2012. At the 2013 state meet she was a part of two relay teams, the 4 x 400 and the 4 x 800 that both finished third in Class 2A.
Josie is the daughter of Shelli and Derek Kollis of Rock Valley. She plans to study Elementary Education at Dordt College.
Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).
