Schrock Added To Defender Men's Soccer

Spencer Schrock, a senior at Iowa Mennonite School (Kalona, Iowa), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender men's soccer program.

Schrock, a 5'8", 155 pound midfielder and outside defender, lettered as a sophomore and junior and as he heads into his senior season he has tallied four goals and five assists. Schrock was a Southeast Iowa Super Conference (SEISC) honorable mention as a junior and helped Iowa Mennonite to the SEISC north division championship before bowing out in the substate final to the eventual state champion.

Schrock has also played five years of club soccer for the Iowa City Kickers.

Spencer is the son of PR and Sherry Schrock of Wellman, Iowa and he plans to study General Agriculture with an emphasis in Plant Science.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).

U.S. News & World Report,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
