Seaman To Attend Dordt College

(Tuesday, March 25; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Taylan Seaman, a senior at Big Bear High School (California), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender football program.

Taylan, a 6-0, 180 pound quarterback, was picked league mvp as a senior and as picked as the All-CIF utility player.  As a junior Seaman was an all-league offensive player and helped Big Bear to back to back league championships.  Big Bear qualified for the playoff quarterfinals in 2012 and the semifinals in 2013.

Taylan is the son of Eric Seaman and Tamara Croll.  He’s undecided on a field of study at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). 

U.S. News & World Report,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
