Stacy To Join Defender Football

(Monday, May 19; Sioux Center, Iowa)  William Stacy, a senior at Santiago High School (California), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender football program.

Stacy played on the offensive line for Santiago High School and helped them to a second round appearance in the CIF Southern Section.  Stacy earned scholar-athlete award while playing for Santiago.  He’s listed 5-9, 230 pounds.

William is the son of William Stacy ad Kelly Stacy of Corona, California.  He plans to study pre-med at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). 

U.S. News & World Report, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
