Roberts To Attend Dordt College

(Monday, June 2; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Damani Roberts,  a senior at Fullerton Union High School (California), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender football and track programs.

Roberts played running back, wide receiver and defensive back for Fullerton Union and earned second-team all-league honors and helped his team to a city championship in football.  He has personal bests of 20-9 in the long jump and 41-9 in the triple jump.    Roberts was also awarded the George Van Vliet Award which is given based on character and selflessness.

Damani is the son of Donna and Darrell Roberts of Fullerton, California.  He plans to study psychology at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). 

U.S. News & World Report,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
