Rasnic to Join Defender Women's Soccer

Katie Rasnic recently announced her plan to transfer from Western Nebraska Community College to Dordt College and she will join the Defender women's soccer program.

Rasnic, 5'6", was a defender and goalkeeper at Loveland High School and also served as a team captain for the Indians.  Most recently Rasnic was a starting defender for WNCC.  Rasnic also played six years of club soccer, five years with United and one with Arsenal.

Katie is the daughter of Greg and Carol Peterson of Loveland, Colorado and was recently married to Dordt College men's soccer goalkeeper Joey Rasnic. Katie plans to major in Business at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).

U.S. News & World Report, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
