Developing a Better Imagination for Artificial Intelligence in Education Webinar

Apr 09, 2025
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

We all have some sort of imagination for what “artificial intelligence” is, and there are many conflicting voices describing AI as the panacea that will save education, or the end of education as we know it. How can we discern the truth? In this session, we’ll explore what AI is and learn a bit about how large language models work to demystify what is actually happening under the hood of powerful generative AI programs. We’ll think through both the possibilities and the pitfalls of AI-infused educational settings, and most importantly, what the rise of artificial intelligence may be doing to the way we view human beings along the way. This session is for classroom teachers, school leaders, instructional coaches, and anyone who is interested in thoughtfully exploring the pros and cons of how AI is impacting education.
