Dordt’s Master of Arts in Teaching program is designed for professionals seeking an initial teaching license in any area. Choose your field of study and take your classroom and leadership abilities to the next level with immediately applicable skills and resources relevant to your specific challenges.
The 35-credit program can be completed in as little as 16 months. You will take 4.5-9 credits per semester depending on your completion timeline. The program includes completing 9 credits of full-time teaching. No travel or on-campus residency is required.

Tuition & Fees
Tuition and fees for 2024-2025 are as follows:

Financial Aid
In an effort to make graduate education at Dordt available to as many people as possible, program costs are kept as reasonable as possible. Financial aid in the form of federal loan programs is available. Students who wish to apply online should go to www.fafsa.ed.gov. Dordt University Donor-Funded Annual Scholarships
Donor-funded scholarships vary in dollar amounts and in recipient selection criteria. Typically, the application process includes an application form and recommendation and a scholarship committee that selects the recipients.

- Partner Scholarship for Vocate Members Members of Vocate are eligible for a $100 scholarship per term that applies to any of Dordt's online degree programs. Through its mission to provide expert and professional employment services, Vocate supports employees and builds healthy workplaces in Christian schools in Ontario, Canada.
