CEO of The Center for Public Justice to speak at Dordt University
Stephanie Summers, CEO of The Center for Public Justice, will present a talk entitled “Loving Your Neighbor through Politics” on Monday, October 3, at 11 a.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium. This presentation is part of the 2022-23 First Mondays Speaker Series.
Summers is a co-author with Washington Post columnist Michael J. Gerson and Katie Thompson of Unleashing Opportunity: Why Escaping Poverty Requires a Shared Vision of Justice (Falls City Press). A frequent speaker and moderator, recent topics include Christian activism in Reformed Public Theology (Baker Academic) and leadership in The Routledge Handbook of Religious Literacy, Pluralism, and Global Engagement (Routledge). She is a recipient of the inaugural Duke Divinity Reflective Leadership Award. She also serves as a Trustee of Eastern University, where she received her M.S. in Nonprofit Management.
Summers was also recently featured on the in All things podcast, which is hosted by Associate Professor of Theology Dr. Justin Bailey.
