Dordt music faculty to present February recital
Some of Dordt's Music Department faculty will be performing in a recital on February 9 at 7:30 p.m.
Dordt University's Concert Choir will present Broadway and Desserts, an evening performance and fundraiser in support of their spring tour.
The Dordt University Concert Choir is hosting an enchanting evening of Broadway tunes and sweet treats on Saturday, February 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Campus Center on Dordt’s campus. The performance will consist of solo songs and a few duets from several popular Broadway shows, and delectable desserts will be served by members of the choir during the show. Tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for students. Kids ages five and under are free, and childcare is available on-site. Tickets must be purchased by Tuesday, February 6 from a Concert Choir student or by contacting the Music Department Office at 712-722-6222 or anna.bartlett@dordt.edu.
Proceeds benefit the Concert Choir tour in March 2024 to the Northwest United States. The tour will include stops in Montana, Idaho, Washington, British Columbia, and South Dakota. The choir will participate in services and perform concerts in multiple churches, as well as for a school assembly.
