Dordt Forensics to host Children's Hour on March 21

Dordt University Forensics will host Children’s Hour, an event where club members will perform pieces of children’s literature aloud. The event will take place on Thursday, March 21in the Ribbons Academic Complex’s CL 1148 at 4 p.m.

Dordt University Forensics will host Children’s Hour, an event where club members will perform pieces of children’s literature aloud. The event will take place on Thursday, March 21in the Ribbons Academic Complex’s CL 1148 at 4 p.m.

The public, including young children, are invited to attend.

“Students will take beloved children’s books and spend seven minutes each reading the story in a fresh, engaging way – to make the story come alive in a different way,” explains Dr. Bruce Kuiper, director of Dordt Forensics and a communication professor.

Dordt Forensics recently placed second in the team sweepstakes at the 27th National Christian College Forensics Invitational, which was held at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. The award-winning club members have competed in more than 20 tournaments and 100 events this year.
