April 22

  • Pella Christian Coaches JD and Erica Boer making jump to the collegiate level (KNIA-KRLS)

“Pella Christian boys basketball and volleyball coaches JD and Erica Boer announced Monday afternoon that they have accepted coaching positions at Dordt University for the upcoming school year.”

“Dordt University in Sioux Center will host Ag Day 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, April 26. The outdoor event will feature animals, machinery, games and food.”

  • National Championship for Dordt University Women’s Basketball (Banner)

“Dordt University women’s basketball team won its first National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics national championship March 26, defeating the University of Providence’s Argos 57-53. Dordt, in Sioux Center, Iowa, is one of six educational institutions denominationally related to the Christian Reformed Church.”

“After seeing growth in campus attendance, one northwest Iowa college is expanding its dining facilities. Dordt University has begun work on expanding its dining commons and B.J. Haan Auditorium. Construction fencing was added between the center and auditorium earlier this month. It created an area for initial utilities work to start.”
