
Dordt University senior to give piano recital featuring a selection of classical pieces
A junior music major at Dordt University will hold a piano recital at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 22 at Dordt University's B.J. Haan Auditorium.
Abraham Hall, a senior at Dordt University, will present an organ recital on Saturday, February 22, at 3:00 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.
The community is invited to the organ recital of Dordt University senior Abraham Hall. The free recital will be given on Saturday, February 22, at 3:00 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.
The recital will feature the first Chorale by Cesar Franck, one of the last works he ever wrote. Of the work Hall stated, it was “an exemplary masterpiece written for the organ.” Other works include the A Minor Prelude and Fugue by Bach and an improvisation on the Te Deum Gregorian chant by Charles Tournemire.
Hall, of Machesney Park, Illinois, is working on a dual major in Biology and Music. He is currently studying organ with Dr. Carrie Groenewold.
