Dordt to host annual pops concert September 15
Dordt's instrumentalists will present a Broadway-themed pops concert on September 15.
Reverend Dr. Matthew Kaemingk, a Christian ethicist and public theologian, will present "Reconnecting Work and Worship" on Monday, September 4 at 11 a.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.
Reverend Dr. Matthew Kaemingk, a Christian ethicist and public theologian, will speak at Dordt University on Monday, September 4 at 11 a.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium. His presentation is titled, “Reconnecting Work and Worship.” This presentation is part of the 2023-24 First Mondays Speaker Series. The community is welcome to attend this free event.
Kaemingk serves as the Richard John Mouw Chair of Faith and Public Life at Fuller Theological Seminary, where he directs the Mouw Institute of Faith and Public Life. He also serves as a research fellow at the Center for Public Justice in Washington, D.C., and scholar-in-residence at the De Pree Center for Christian Leadership. Kaemingk is an award-winning author and frequent public speaker for universities, think tanks, and organizations interested in exploring the intersection between faith and public life. He is the author of several books including “Work and Worship” (with Cory Willson, 2020), and “Reformed Public Theology” (2021). Kaemingk holds a doctoral degree in Systematic Theology from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam and Christian Ethics from Fuller Theological Seminary.
