Dordt University’s Master of Social Work (MSW) program is partnering with Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana. This partnership gives students at Grace a fast-track to their MSW degree.
The partnership is designed for Grace students studying sociology or human services. These students will receive a waiver for select foundational courses in Dordt’s MSW program, allowing them to complete the program in less time. They’ll also have the flexibility to participate in the program from anywhere in the world, as the courses are completely online.
Dordt’s MSW program aims to prepare students for Christ-centered renewal in social work. Collaborating with a like-minded college like Grace only advances that mission. “Our shared commitment to Christ-centered education makes this affiliation a natural fit,” says Dr. Kelly Arney, dean of behavioral science at Grace. “This partnership will strengthen our ability to prepare future social workers who are not only technically proficient but also grounded in faith.”
“Dordt University and Grace College are committed to helping students discover how they can use their passions to meet the needs of the world,” says Dr. Erin Olson, professor of social work and Master of Social Work program director. “Through this partnership, students who graduate from Grace will be able to get their MSW degree from instructors who are committed to help them explore the ways an MSW degree can help them serve their communities and the people in need within those communities.”
Dordt’s MSW program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) and approved by the Higher Learning Commission.
