Defender Days at Dordt University is projected to have record-breaking attendance this year, with over 1,600 registered attendees and numerous sold-out events.
Defender Days, the biggest event on Dordt University’s campus, is estimated to have its largest attendance ever this year. Held on October 25-26, Defender Days already has over 1,600 individuals registered. Many Defender Days ticketed events, such as the Business Connections Breakfast and President’s Brunch, are already sold out.

Alumni, parents, students, and many more will spend the weekend attending home sporting events, concerts, dinners, the fall theatre production, music festivals, the 25th Reunion, and more.

Dr. Brandon Huisman, vice president for enrollment and marketing, says that more and more people are coming back to campus for Defender Days because “they are genuinely excited about what’s happening here.”
“Alumni want to reunite with old friends, and parents want to see their children. But there are also Dordt fans coming to campus because they want to feel the momentum of what’s going on here. They’re saying, ‘Look at what the Lord is doing through the lives of Dordt students, faculty, and staff. There’s something here, and I want to experience it for myself.”
