Dordt Worship recently released a song called “Glorious Day,” which is now available on Spotify.
“The song was released on Good Friday because of the lyrical parallel between Christ’s resurrection and our restoration to life,” says Alex Priore, director of production arts. “He calls us out of darkness and into light. From brokenness to healing. Because of what he’s done, we can be restored.”
The song was created as part of a studio recording project that took place back in spring 2022. The studio recordings were the framework for what became a collaborative recording process that included many different Dordt students.
“Over the span of a year, around a dozen or so different Dordt worship students were involved in performing and playing on these recordings,” adds Priore.
