Fourth Avenue Jazz concert to feature Christmas songs and carols
The Dordt University Music Department's 4th Avenue Jazz concert on December 13 will be an enjoyable evening of Christmas songs, carols, and big band standards.
Submissions are being accepted to the upcoming High School Art Showcase, which will be located on the campus of Dordt University.
This coming spring, Dordt University will host its third annual high school (grades 9-12) juried art showcase.
Dordt’s gallery program is excited to celebrate excellence in art through this showcase. Mediums of all types, 2D, 3D, and digital works are welcome for submission. We are accepting nominations of student artwork from high school art teachers. There is no limit to the number of students that may be nominated; however, there is a limit of three submissions per student.

The deadline to submit nomination is Friday, February 7, 2025.
The exhibit will be in the Campus Center Art Gallery on Dordt’s campus from March 17 – April 3. Teachers will be notified of the selected artist(s) and artwork(s) by February 21. The artwork should be delivered to Dordt from March 3-8.
A closing reception will be held on Thursday, April 3 at 7-8 p.m. At the closing reception, the Best of Show as well as multiple Awards of Excellence will be announced.
