Open call for high school student artwork
This coming spring, Dordt University will host a high school (grades 9-12) juried art showcase. Dordt’s art faculty emeritus and regional artist, Jake Van Wyk, will serve as this year’s juror. Dordt’s gallery program is excited to celebrate excellence in art through this inaugural showcase. Mediums of all types, 2D, 3D, and digital works are all welcome for submission. Art teachers are encouraged to nominate and submit their students’ artwork.
Please complete the nomination form for each student's artwork: https://forms.gle/4mzpbvP4mYQ4NWuNA. There is no limit on the number of students or pieces nominated.
The deadline to submit nominations is February 9.
The exhibit will be in the Campus Center Art Gallery on Dordt’s campus from March 1-30, 2023. Teachers will be notified of the selected artist(s) and artwork(s) by February 19. All selected artworks need to be received between February 23 and 25.
