During the weeks of April 1 and 8, access to Fourth Avenue NE near Dordt University will be impacted.
The community is invited to the voice recital of Dordt University junior Philip Shippy. The free recital will be held on Saturday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium. A public reception will follow.

The program focuses on German Art Songs and Contemporary English songs, featuring a range of tones such as bright and bouncy, smooth and beautiful, adventurous, or dark and intense. Shippy will be accompanied by Dordt University junior Abe Hall of Machesney Park, Illinois.
Shippy, of Sioux Center, Iowa, is majoring in Digital Media Production. He has studied voice with Pamela De Haan since 2022 and currently sings in the Dordt University Concert Choir and 4th Avenue Singers.
