Gracie Dykstra, a senior at Western Christian High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender softball program.
Gracie Dykstra, a senior at Western Christian High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender softball program.
Dykstra scored 12 runs for the Wolfpack last season and had seven hits.
"I chose Dordt University because I know it will be a good place for me to grow academically and spiritually. The Christian atmosphere and community drew me to continue my education here," said Dykstra.
Gracie is the daughter of Steve and Lori Dykstra of Hospers, Iowa. She plans to enter the Administrative Assistant program.
Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian university rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).
U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
