Student Life

Looking for ways you can get involved in the Dordt student community?

Around 90% of Dordt students live on campus—visit us and you’ll see students watching movies, playing games, and studying together. Students enjoy roasting hot dogs and marshmallows at the fire pit behind the B.J. Haan, attending concerts and movies, grabbing coffee at the local Fruited Plain café, and traveling to nearby Sioux Falls and Sioux City on the weekends.

If you want to get a true feel for Dordt's unique student life, we recommend that you schedule a visit and experience things for yourself!

Live at Dordt

Your time outside the classroom is just as important as your time in the classroom. Dordt offers four residence halls and three apartment complexes to ensure that students always have a private, comfortable space to rest, study, and build lasting relationships during their time here.

Dordt is a place of spiritual formation. But we don't just teach about Christianity—we live it out together. From chapel to campus ministries and beyond, Dordt will help strengthen your faith in Jesus and your fellowship with other believers.
